Taking pictures of nature is one of my favorite things. There is no posing and you can take your time most of the time to line up the composition. So here are my favorite shots from our walk through the Sand Hills.
This blog was formerly known as Blunders and Blessings. Because I was having trouble keeping up with it I decided to change it to focus solely on my hobby of photography. Posts will be infrequent as I plan to be out and about hopefully taking pictures! But I will post occasionally on thoughts, projects, tips and recent pictures I've taken. Thanks for checking out my blog!

God's Beautiful Creation In The Sand Hills
Yesterday the weather was perfect for a long walk in the Sand Hills near our home. I grabbed my camera, my youngest son and the dog and headed over for a nature walk. We had a great time up until we hit the stickers and we were stopping every few feet to pick stickers out of the dog's paws! Poor Poopsie was afraid to take a step! I ended up carrying her as much as was possible. And mind you, she is not a little dog! We were all glad when we finally reached the sand road so the dog could walk without getting stickers!

You took some great scenic pics! Those are always my favorite!
ReplyDeleteLovely! I can't imagine having to carry Poopsie - you certainly got your workout. But what a beautiful place to get a workout!
ReplyDeleteI love the shades of purple seen in the brush at the Sand Hills! The last picture is of Chai "pointing" after hearing something rustling in the brush. She's never been taught how to do that. Maybe it's instinct?
